Home Health’s Cheryl Harrod is January's Employee of the Month.
Here are some excerpts from her nomination form:
- Cheryl is an excellent therapist and advocate for our patients. She is often therapist, nurse, aide and social worker all in one to her patients.
- I have seen her on many occasions go above and beyond to help patients find medical equipment, home furnishings, provide a good "listening ear" or create some home adaptation out of nothing (like MacGuyver) to allow patients to remain independent. She really gives 110%!
- Cheryl does so much to make Home Health look good. She maintains an outside garden in the summer and keeps the indoor plants going all year long. She shares plants from her garden for others to take home and enjoy.
- She dug up and prepared the ground for the bulbs that the staff planted in memory of Sharon Smith.
- Cheryl always is encouraging and in good spirits. She is a joy to work with.
- She is always friendly and cheerful and takes the time to be helpful in any way she can.
